Settings#
The Settings tab collects the app-wide options. Each feature contributes its own section, so what you see depends on your platform and which features your build has.
General#
Log verbosity — how much the app writes to its log: Debug, Info (the default), Warn, or Error. Turn it up to Debug when something misbehaves and you want to report it.
Log folder — where those logs land, with an Open button that opens the folder in your file manager.
Privacy — Warn before opening the file browser. On by default; see below.
On close — Hide to the system tray instead of quitting. With this on, closing the window leaves the app running in the tray, and the tray menu’s Show Capystreama brings it back.
Item List#
CSV import — where a Litematica import lands: Ask each time (the default), Update the open list, or Create a new file beside the CSV. This is the same choice as the import dialog’s Always import this way checkbox, so you can undo that here.
Updates#
Windows only — the current version, a Check for updates button, and the startup-check toggle. See Updates.
Streaming with the app on screen#
Capystreama assumes the app itself may be visible on stream, so it keeps your
computer’s user name out of the window: file and folder paths are shown by name
only, and paths inside build output are shortened to ~. Open buttons still act
on the real full path.
The one thing it can’t sanitize is the operating system’s own file browser, which shows full paths. That’s what the Privacy setting is for: it warns you before the browser opens, so you can cover it or stop sharing first. The warning has a Don’t show this warning again checkbox, and the Settings toggle brings it back.
